NIGHT FOCUS

The Kenko NIGHT FOCUS is an innovative filter designed to make focusing in night and astrophotography faster, easier, and more precise. Achieving sharp focus on stars can be difficult and time-consuming, especially when stars are barely visible on screen.

Inspired by the Bahtinov mask used in astronomy, this filter has been specifically adapted for modern photographic lenses, ensuring efficient and reliable focusing.

The filter features a special pattern etched onto the glass that generates three light stripes around bright stars:

• Focus is achieved when the three stripes intersect perfectly at the center

• When adjusting focus, only the central stripe moves

• Fine adjustments allow precise alignment

 How to Use

1. Attach the NIGHT FOCUS filter to the lens

2. Center a bright star in the frame

3. Zoom in to maximum magnification in Live View

4. Adjust focus until the stripes align

5. Take a test shot and check focus

6. Remove the filter

7. Compose and capture the final image
